What does a Community Based Support Specialist do?
A Community Based Support Specialist provides guidance, direction and care as they assist people with developmental disabilities in becoming more independent by teaching techniques to improve their self-help skills within their home, community or a group setting.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED is preferred
Valid NYS Driver's license with 2 years of experience is required
