Hi there,
I am offering gardening and landscaping work, farm work, and small/medium tree work, as well as labor and odd jobs.
As winter is upon us, I am focusing more on odd jobs such as stacking/splitting wood, help with various household and outdoor needs, and definitely tree work if possible with the weather.
I'm also available for farm and house-sitting!
Regarding tree work, I am not a certified aborist/climber, but I am experienced with pruning and minor removals.
I can fell small, medium and occasionally large trees, as long as there is space for them to fall.
If a massive tree is already on the ground, I can probably cut it up for you.
For more controlled falls in sensitive ares, I can refer you to a few independent and certified arborists I know and work with.
I have a chainsaw with an 18" bar.
I've worked with arborists on and off for about 5 years.
I used to live in Portland, Oregon, and for many years I worked for a landscaping company.
I now work independently doing my own gardening and landscaping jobs.
I have knowledge of permaculture, sustainable, and organic practices and have taken various workshops and classes regarding such approaches.
I also know some good, reliable, reasonably priced stone-workers, if that's something you need.
I have the following tools: chainsaw, hori hori (Japanese weeding knife), arborist-quality pruning saw, Felco clippers, shovel, hoe, rake, etc.
I charge $35 an hour, which is flexible.
I charge $50 an hour for consistent chainsaw/tree work.
I can provide numerous references.
Give me a call:

(Text or call is fine; leave a message if you get my voice mail! The number is my cell phone.
I know it's an out-of-state number, but I assure you, I am local! I am based in Kingston.
The spelling of the last two numbers is to avoid automated spamming.
)
Thanks!
Evan
