1998 Hamer Echotone 335 clone - $500 (Kingston)

This is a Made in Korea Hamer Echotone from 1998, not to be confused with the more recent Echotone XT models which are made in China.
I upgraded the pickups with Tonerider Alnico II Classics when I first bought it many years ago, which gives it a beautiful vintage tone clean or dirty.

I've owned an Epiphone DOT/335 and still have a 339, this Hamer rivals and exceeds the Epis in every regard.
One key difference that worked well for me as a lifelong Fender player is the 25.
5" scale length.
What didn't work for me, but others love, is the slim modern C neck profile.
It's what most call a fast playing neck, but I like baseball bats! This Echotone is over 25 years old but basically looks new.
There is essentially no fretwear and the guitar is nicely set up with 10-46 gauge strings.
The original Epiphone hardshell case is also in excellent condition.
This guitar is an absolute pleasure to hear, play, and behold.
