General Purpose
The Office Customer Service Associate provides customer-friendly service to our valuable customers by delivering excellent, prompt, professional service to Adams’ customers, managers, vendors and employees.
FLSA Status: Non-exempt
Reports To: Office Manager
Principle Responsibilities
Ensure that customers receive the best customer service by providing friendly, polite, and knowledgeable service
Greet customers personally and thank them appreciatively for shopping at Adams
Answer phones and transfer calls to other departments
Assist internal and external customers at the office window
Sort and distribute incoming mail as well as post outgoing mail
Put away incoming office supplies/orders
Process and enter store transfers in accounting software
Process online orders (printing, ringing them up and distributing accordingly)
Audit and setup registers
Count cash and reconcile tills/drawers
Commit cashier worksheets within office software system
Prepare and make bank deposits
Audit cashier tills to process pick ups
Ensure all office equipment: fax, mail machine and copier are all in good working order
Ability to troubleshoot registers, pin pads and POS system if there’s a problem
If assigned, count the safe every day and make sure it proves
If assigned, order change
If assigned, order office supplies
If assigned, process and distribute petty cash
If assigned, training
If assigned, write checks
If assigned, data entry
If assigned, handle deliveries
If assigned, work in other departments
If assigned, process payroll
Physical Requirements
