The bedroom has a private bathroom with a jacuzzi bathtub, and it also has a huge walk-in closet.
The housemates: We are two single, professional women in our 40’s teaming up to create a home together.
We both have experience living in community.
One of us works with kids, the other is a Pilates Instructor and Movement Therapist.
The house: It’s large and has a lot of common space to spread out in- upstairs there are 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, a large living room, and a den.
Downstairs is a multi-purpose room that we can use for meditation, arts & crafts, as an office and healing space, etcetera.
Downstairs there is also a lot of storage space.
There’s a total of 3 bathrooms in the home including the one in the bedroom that is available.
Outdoors: The home looks out on some beautiful woods and has a large backyard, and we have been given permission to create a garden.
Move in date: Feb 15th (March 1st may become an option)
Lease length: 15 months
Rent: $1150 plus 1/3 of the utilities.
We estimate that utilities will average out to $200/month each including seasonal utilities like heat and lawn mowing.
We are responsible for all utilities: water, trash, lawn, etc.
and it's a large house to heat, so the utilities are on the higher side.
We’re looking for a housemate who:
-loves living with cats but doesn’t have any pets of their own (a gerbil or similar may be acceptable)
-is financially stable and has solid references
-has experience with community living
-is LGBTQ-friendly
